I don't get approached: James McAvoy

James McAvoy has revealed that he hardly ever gets noticed when walking down the street.

The X-Men: First Class actor, who spends most of his time in London, explained that he rarely gets approached when he is out.

The actor who shot to fame after his phenomenal performance in The last king of Scotland and Atonement is quite popular with the girls and thus his this revelation came as a surprise.

He told a magazine: "People have been asking me about fame since I did Narnia. It never seemed to happen.

"I've been recognised on the streets maybe about ten times since then. It never really worries me, that stuff. I'm standing outside school gates going, 'Recognise me, recognise me, please!'"

McAvoy's co-star Michael Fassbender, who plays Magneto in the movie, said that he also receives minimal attention, but added that were he to become a more recognisable face, there would not be much he could do about it
